Western Wisconsin Health (WW Health) is pleased to announce that Dr. Matthew Beeson, a family practice physician, has joined the medical staff. He began seeing patients on April 10, 2017.

Dr. Matthew Beeson attended medical school in Grenada in the West Indies and completed his Family Medicine Residency in Minot, North Dakota. He sees patients of all ages, with a focus on prevention. Dr. Beeson takes a special interest in multiple and complex conditions in geriatrics, palliative care, and end of life. His passion is hospice and palliative care, and he takes pride in helping patients and their families during these difficult time. “I have a philosophy that a patient’s physician should become a trusted member of their medical family,” said Dr. Beeson. 

Prior to joining WW Health, Dr. Beeson worked for Calumet Medical Center in Chilton, WI.  Dr. Beeson and his wife Laura are relocating to the Ellsworth, WI area. His wife Laura Beeson, BC-FNP, an advanced practice family nurse practitioner, will join the WW Health medical staff in June.
