At Western Wisconsin Health, our nephrology services are provided by Dr. Nilin Raj, who takes a special interest in managing chronic kidney disease, electrolyte imbalance, and pre- and post-renal transplant care, in addition to hospitalist medicine. When caught early on, serious kidney disease can often be avoided through medication and lifestyle changes. Late-stage kidney disease or kidney failure may lead to the need for a kidney transplant. Dr. Raj will work closely with you at any stage to determine the root of any kidney issues and the best plan to slow or stop them.
Our nephrology services include:
- Chronic kidney disease treatment and associated secondary hyperparathyroidism and renal anemia
- Kidney transplant referral and preparation along with post-operative care
- Blood pressure management
- Electrolyte imbalance
- Preparation for hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis
