The Western Wisconsin Health Foundation hosted its inaugural Golf & Gala at the River Falls Golf Club on May 11.  WWH is in its 17th year of golf scrambles but this was the first time an evening event had been held.  It was a blustery and chilly day for golf but 19 of the hardiest, most dedicated teams came out for a fun time and good cause.  Raffle items were won by many and prizes were given to the best (WWH’s very own Dan Teece, Director of Rehab and his crew) and worst golf teams (the community’s favorite, Baldwin EMS).  Transitioning from Golf Clubs to Gala Garb, a wonderful group of community members, volunteers, sponsors and staff came together for an evening of h’ ordeuvres, dinner, silent auction and a great presentation on why this event was so important.  “We all came together for our community and our patients.  It was a day of celebration for Western Wisconsin Health and to build a healthier tomorrow together,” said Rosa Magnus, Development Manager of Western Wisconsin Health.  Close to $30,000 was raised with all proceeds from the Golf & Gala to be put towards the construction build of our ambulance garage and drive under canopy.  We thank everyone for your continued support.  If you are interested in contributing to the Western Wisconsin Health Foundation, please visit www.wwhealth.org/contribute.
